About Us
Our staff is accredited with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and has a wide range of private sector and public project experience. We care deeply about the success of our projects and always ensure that we are responsive to our client needs.
Our Services
Cascadia prepares land use applications and coordinates with city, county, and state agencies for the approval of development projects. We carefully evaluate project feasibility and offer creative site design solutions when meeting our client goals.
Our Projects
Our project experience includes subdivisions and partitions, conditional use permits, zoning/comprehensive plan map amendments, and annexation applications. We have also facilitated public planning projects and secured grant funding for their development.
Who We Are
Steve Kay, AICP is the principal of Cascadia Planning + Development Services and has been a land use planner in the Northwest for nearly 20 years. He has designed and obtained approval of numerous development projects as land use consultant, has significant experience on the other side of the counter as a community development director, and has also served as a planning commissioner.
What We Do
Cascadia prepares site plans, writes application narratives, provides project management services, and represents clients at public meetings during the land use development process. We have project experience in nearly 30 city and county jurisdictions and have obtained approval for a variety of residential, commercial, and public projects throughout the Northwest.
